Welcome to Gaining Ground Farm
Our farm is located in Leicester, NC on 70 acres of family farm land. The farm is home to a herd of Red Devon cattle, a Jersey milk cow, a flock of chickens, and several acres of vegetable-growing bottomland. We strive to raise food that is healthier for all of us raised in a manner easier on the environment.
Community Supported Agriculture
When you purchase a CSA share, you will receive a box of seasonal, fresh vegetables each week for 22 weeks.
Flowers, Flowers, Flowers
We grow cottage garden and old timey flowers for every occasion, from a simple bouquet to weddings for special events.
Internships on the Farm
We hire interns for an April 1st thru mid-October season. We work hard, but we have fun and enjoy good meals together.
